Slobber, slobber everywhere!

3/6/13

Jack turned 14 weeks yesterday! He is growing so fast! I feel like every day he is doing something new. He is able to hold toys and bring them to his mouth. He slobbers all over them as he chews. Well, he chews and slobbers all over everything. He is eating 5 ounces at a time now. He is such a big boy he is getting too heavy for me to lift easily with my arms extended...for example, I have a hard time sitting beside the tub and lifting him higher in his bath chair when he wiggles his way too low in the seat. He is literally too heavy and I have to stand or kneel over him to pick him up. I need to work out if I'm going to carry this kiddo around ;) Cute baby pictures, coming your way!

Sleepy Baby...

Slobbery baby...

Jack got his fists up to his mouth last week. That was a new thing :)

Reading Goodnight Moon with Daddy.

Jack has several favorite toys but a new favorite is the green valentines frog that Cristell got him. The arms of the frog are thin enough for him to wrap his fingers around and it's soft so he likes the texture of it in his mouth. Sofie the giraffe is another favorite. I think the rubber feels funny on his gums because he will gum that thing to death!

Jack fell asleep while we were eating dinner together Wednesday night. He was a sleepy baby.

Caption for the following pictures. "Who is that? Oh it's Mom. I'm going to bite her!"

He's gotten back on his routine and seems to be doing better with Corvetta during the day. He was chatting with her when I got home. I came into the room and he gave me a smile and then proceeded to continue talking with Corvetta! :) Jack has gotten a little particular at night. Last night and the night before he went to bed like a dream but tonight, not so much! It took me an hour and a half of rocking to settle him and then he was up after 45 minutes of sleeping. Justin is in there now. I had to tag out for a little bit. The room was beginning to close in on me. From the sounds coming across the montior, I don't think he's having much luck either ;)
