I am so fortunate to still know and love my college girlfriends. In fact, truth be told, I love and definitely appreciate them and our friendship FAR more now that we are out of college. I see how precious and rare true adult friendship is and I really do treasure them. It was time for our annual girls weekend. It was Britt's turn to host. Poor Tara had her gallbladder out the three days before and was not fit for travel. So we missed her terribly and drank in her honor :) Also, there are nothing but old white men in first class. As noted in the selfie I sent before I boarded.
Only later, after running and crawling through the grass for thirty minutes, like an idiot, did Evie inform me that the yard was covered in dog poo, when she refused to go out there barefoot. Thanks a lot Ev. LOL!
What a doll baby! And a sassy one too. Making her Aunt Jes proud!
The trip was way too short, but just long enough that I didn't get anxious about being away from my babies. They were in good hands with Granna and Papa! Britt and I went to an art and wine thing one night. The wine really brought out our creativity!
We painted trees. So cliche and Bob Ross of us :)
We toasted Tara's recovery our last night and even though it wasn't the same without her, it was the best trip yet! Thanks for having me Britty!
A few treasures I found at the airport.
And a beautiful view above an ocean of clouds. :)
