Well he's about to turn 10 months so it's about time I get caught up! Jack started crawling at Julianne's 1st birthday. He was sitting in the floor watching her very intently and then, he just got on all fours and took a few unsteady moves for his first crawl. He's getting so big! He's since gotten very proficient and FAST, much to the dogs' dismay.
Here he is playing with mom's blouse...
Selfies....
My sleeping prince!
Within days of learning to crawl, he started pulling up! Slow down baby! So of course, now that he's mobile, he's into all our cabinets and drawers. :)
In these pictures, I'm actually having to help him keep his balance, but he doesn't need me anymore. That boy is everywhere. One second he's pulling all the DVDs out of the media console, the next he's crawling into the kitchen, pulling Tupperware out of the drawers, then, blink, and he's splashing in the dogs' water bowl. Mayhem. Cute, cute mayhem.
He was digging through the laundry basket, so I decided to put him in. He was quite pleased with himself.
I just LOVE this face!
Here are a few of Jack with Nana, the weekend we went home to share the baby #2 news. She was glad to get her hands on him! Poor Nana's arms are always full of grandbabies, tough life :) She made it a point to snatch him from Mima.
Pure. Joy.
Snuggling with dad after a tough night. He is teething and had been up all night in this picture, note the tired look on dad's face. Jack had a tooth pop through (bottom left, his left) on Friday (9/20/13). It's so sharp, like a puppy tooth, and he loves to chew on fingers with it. He was drinking out of a glass and you could hear his little tooth clicking on the glass. Maybe I can get a picture of it!
On our way back from Aiken, had to make a pit stop at Mickey Dee's.
Just last week, Jack had to stay home sick. He had been congested for about two weeks, which isn't uncommon, given that he goes to daycare. Then, one night, he ran a pretty high fever. Thermometer said 101.8 axillary, but mine read 96.6 oral, so I know it wasn't accurrate. He was on fire and so pitiful! Not looking so pitiful in this picture. :) Maybe it was just Daddy's good care taking! And Tylenol. Thank God for Tylenol. As I was rocking him that night he had the high fever, and he was grunting and whimpering with every exhale, I just thought about all those poor mommies in the world whose babies run fevers and they don't have any relief to offer them. Thank you God for Tylenol!
Long story short, he got his ears irrigated at the doctor's office and while he didn't have a raging ear infection, they decided to treat it like one anyways given his fever and two weeks of congestions. He's all better now!
Look at these two beauties! I get to play and cuddle them in just a few short weeks. I'm going to Pittsburg to visit and can't wait! :)
Now a few of my baby...
Waiting for Daddy at the house ...
Jack playing at the park with the house going up behind him. It's almost completed now, but it's nice to have pictures along the way.
Puffs and a pincer grasp :)
Breakfast time, offering mommy some :)
Playing around with Daddy...
Playtime and "mamamama"...
A little crawling in it's beginning phases...
And more pulling up.
I hate it's taken me so long to post. I'll have more house pics up soon! :)
